Application Process

  1. Application Submission: Interested participants can submit their applications up to December 1st. Ensure all you information are recently updated for consideration.
  2. Application Review: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Early submissions are encouraged to secure a spot in the program.
  3. Interviews: Interviews will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. This means that the sooner you apply, the sooner you may be invited for an interview.
  4. Final Selection: Successful candidates will be notified after the interview process is complete.
  5. Program Enrollment: Selected participants will receive further instructions on how to enroll in the program.

What is the duration of the program? 

The weaving pre- incubation program lasts for five months, during which participants will engage in workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking events.

Who is eligible to apply?

The program is open to aspiring weavers, textile entrepreneurs, and anyone passionate about the weaving industry. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and skill levels.

What materials do I need to submit with my application? 

Applicants should submit a completed application form, and any relevant portfolio pieces showcasing their work.

When is the application deadline? 

Applications can be submitted up to December 1st. We encourage early submissions to ensure a timely review.

How are interviews conducted?

Interviews will be held on a first-come, first-served basis. This means that applicants who submit their applications early will have the first opportunity for an interview.

What kind of support will I receive during the program?

Participants will receive mentorship from Oriental Weavers experts, access to resources, and opportunities for skill development through workshops and networking events.

Is there a fee to join the program? 

This program is free of charge and does not entail any payment arrangements.

What happens after the program ends?

Upon completion, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their work and connect with Oriental weavers experts , successful ventures will move to the next phase where they will enjoy tailored support and on demand services to be part of Oriental weavers Ecosystem.

Do I need to have prior experience in the weaving industry to apply?

No prior experience is necessary, but having an innovative idea or MVP in one of the above mentioned fields is required.

What happens if I don’t have an MVP yet?

Applicants are encouraged to submit their most developed ideas. The program can help refine your concept into a tangible MVP.
