Program Offerings

Gemini Africa, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity International, are launching a groundbreaking program to foster innovation in the affordable and climate-resilient housing sector. The program aims to map the housing ecosystem, identify key stakeholders, and support startups and enterprises offering viable solutions to address the pressing challenges in this critical industry in Egypt.

By connecting entrepreneurs, service providers, and ecosystem enablers, the program seeks to create a collaborative platform for driving impactful change in housing affordability, sustainability, and resilience through offering:

Capacity Building: Conducting training sessions and workshops focused on business development, financial modeling, and innovative housing solutions while focusing on the personal development for founders to enhance leadership and strategic skills.

Networking & Mentorship: Providing access to mentorship from industry experts in construction, sustainability, and housing innovation in addition to networking events that foster collaboration among startups, investors, and key stakeholders

Business Development Services: Conducting needs assessment and tailoring roadmaps for selected startups to enhance their growth and market readiness through technical support and availing resources to refine innovative products and services.

Pitch Day & Investment Opportunities: Organizing a final event where startups present their solutions to a panel of investors and industry leaders seeking opportunities for funding, partnerships, and market entry support.

Who can participate

If you’re based anywhere in Egypt and have an innovative startup or enterprise at the MVP or growth stage, with at least two founders aged 20 to 45 in any of the following fields:

Application Process

  1. Application Submission: Interested participants can submit their applications up to February 6th. Ensure all your information is recently updated for consideration.
  2. Application Review: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Early submissions are encouraged to secure a spot in the program.
  3. Interviews: Interviews will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. This means that the sooner you apply, the sooner you may be invited for an interview.
  4. Final Selection: Successful candidates will be notified after the interview process is complete.
  5. Program Enrollment: Selected participants will receive further instructions on how to enroll in the program.

What is the duration of the program? 

The Innovative Solutions for Affordable Climate Resilient Housing Solutions program lasts for six months, during which participants will engage in workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking events.

Who is eligible to apply?

The program is open to aspiring entrepreneurs offering : Financial & digital solutions, Sustainable Construction & Materials, Smart Living Designs, Affordable Housing related support services.

However, we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and skill levels.

What materials do I need to submit with my application? 

Applicants should submit a completed application form, and any relevant documents detailing their work.

When is the application deadline? 

Applications can be submitted up to February 6th. We encourage early submissions to ensure a timely review.

What kind of support will I receive during the program?

Participants will receive business support and mentorship from Gemini Africa,
technical assistance from Habitat for Humanity, access to resources, and opportunities for skill development through diversified activities and networking events.
